All Butones Jewelries are handmade. Button are cut, and smoothed out before attachment to pendant trays, and earrings posts. Bails are attached to all appropriate charms, and most necklace chains are designed, and made from scratch.

Butones Jewelry are all repurposed from authentic designer elements. These designer elements are from wide array of items such as garments, purses, hats, sunglasses, shoes, keychains, jewelries and many more. Elements taken from these items are buttons, charms, emblems, tags, zipper pulls, and everything else that distinguish their iconic brands. I give life to these pieces through turning them into beautiful, and unique body ornaments.

Most designer elements are consistent with used condition, aligning with style, and history. Please embrace the typical wear found with them as it makes them unique in character and it is a natural part of owning a repurpose.

Most designer elements do not require authenticity certificates. They have been taken off already authenticated second-hand designer items. Older Chanel buttons have a signature rectangular stamping at the back but the newer designs no longer have these. This is not to be confused with the oval stamping as those are only stamped on an actual Chanel jewelry line.

I love the entire process of repurposing and creating these beautiful pieces especially searching for the designer pieces I can repurpose which includes authenticated second-hand jewelries, garments, bag charms, bags, shoes, and other designer items with the most potential to last for years. Designer items are sourced through trusted suppliers from United States, Japan, Italy, and Korea. Few of Butones Jewelry suppliers are owners of published and reputable vintage stores who specializes in restoring designer pieces for resale. On special occasion, Butones Jewelry also source rare, and more precious vintage designer pieces from a French source. Stock is usually limited and restock is uncertain as availability of authentic designer pieces always vary.
